Integreet has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out our commitments, the safeguards built into the platform, how to report concerns, and how we respond. It is published in compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applies to every user of the Integreet app and website.
1. Our commitment
Integreet does not allow any content, conduct, or service that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors. We permanently remove offending content, terminate the accounts responsible, preserve evidence as required by law, and cooperate with law enforcement and recognised child-protection organisations.
2. What's prohibited
The following are strictly prohibited on Integreet, with or without ill intent:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including photos, videos, drawings, AI-generated imagery, or text descriptions.
- Sexualised conversations with or about minors, including sexual emojis, suggestive captions, or solicitation.
- Grooming behaviour: building rapport with a minor for sexual purposes, requesting private images, or attempting to move a minor to off-platform channels.
- Sextortion, blackmail, or any threat to share intimate imagery of a minor.
- Sharing identifying information (school, address, phone number) of a minor without a parent or guardian's consent.
- Impersonating a minor, or using a minor's likeness in a sexualised context.
- Trafficking, abuse, or any other exploitation of a minor.
3. In-product safeguards
- Age requirement. Integreet is not directed at children under 13. We collect each user's date of birth at sign-up and block accounts that fail the age check.
- Automated image and video moderation. Every uploaded image and short video is scanned by Sightengine before publication. Material flagged as containing a minor in a sexualised or suggestive context is hard-blocked, the upload is purged, and the incident is logged for review.
- User reporting. Every post, profile, message, comment, reel, listing, and live session has a Report button that includes a "Child safety / CSAE" reason category. Reports under this category are escalated to our highest-priority queue.
- Block and mute. Users can block other users at any time. Blocks are symmetric: a blocked user cannot view or interact with the user who blocked them.
- Live-stream supervision. Live audio and video sessions have moderator controls (kick, ban, end session) and broadcast recordings are retained when a report is raised.
- Direct-message safety. Image and video attachments in direct messages are also moderated before delivery. We do not provide end-to-end encryption that would prevent us from acting on reports.
4. How to report
If you encounter content or conduct that may endanger a child, please report it immediately. You do not need to be the victim, the parent, or the guardian to report.
- In-app. Tap the three-dot menu on any post, profile, comment, message, listing, or live session, choose Report, and select Child safety / CSAE.
- By email. Send details to support@integreet.com with the subject line "CSAE report". Include URLs or screenshots if it is safe for you to do so. Do not re-share the offending content beyond what is strictly needed to identify it.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then report to Integreet.
5. How we respond
- We acknowledge every CSAE report within 24 hours of receipt.
- Our trust & safety team reviews the report, examines the relevant content, account history, and any associated devices or accounts.
- Confirmed CSAE content is removed immediately, the responsible accounts are permanently terminated, and any associated devices are blocked from re-registering.
- Evidence is preserved in line with applicable law to support investigations.
- We escalate to law enforcement and recognised child-safety hotlines where appropriate (see § 6).
- Reporters receive an outcome update once the investigation is closed, subject to legal restrictions.
6. Law enforcement and external resources
Law-enforcement agencies and recognised child-safety organisations can request data in connection with a CSAE investigation by emailing support@integreet.com with the subject line "Law enforcement — CSAE". We respond to lawful requests on an expedited basis.
If you need to report CSAE outside Integreet:
- South African Police Service (SAPS). Dial 10111 (24/7) or visit any SAPS station. The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit handles CSAE cases.
- Childline South Africa. 116 (free, 24/7) — counselling and reporting support for children and concerned adults.
- NCMEC CyberTipline (United States). report.cybertip.org — accepts reports from anywhere in the world.
- INHOPE. inhope.org — directory of national CSAE reporting hotlines worldwide.
7. Training and review
Members of the Integreet trust & safety team are briefed on CSAE detection, evidence preservation, and the applicable South African and international reporting obligations. We review and update this policy at least once a year and after any material change to our moderation tooling, age verification, or reporting flow.
8. Child Safety Point of Contact
